My name is Pierre Fromentin. I have been living in Thailand with my wife and daughter since 2009. As an engineer, I work in the research and development department of an ophthalmic lenses manufacturing company. I have always been interested in astronomy, so I purchased a telescope in 2018. Initially disappointed with my visual experiences, I quickly shifted my focus to astrophotography. I was amazed when I first saw the Orion Nebula appear on my screen after processing my first image. Since then, I have been continuously trying to improve my skills through experimentation and studying.
